After a long drive from Melbourne, our family found a welcoming retreat at Lud'Hotel. Nestled in a quaint village near Beaune, the location was tranquil with lovely views of the French Alps. While the rooms were simple and clean, the warm hospitality of the host couple made our stay memorable.We enjoyed leisurely walks in the nearby vineyards, immersing ourselves in the beauty of the lush surroundings. A visit to the castle provided a glimpse into the region's rich history, and the cellar tours offered a taste of local wine culture.The hotel's family-friendly atmosphere was evident, with small touches that catered to both parents and children. Despite the basic amenities, Lud'Hotel's charm lies in its peaceful setting and proximity to nature's wonders, making it a suitable choice for families seeking a quiet escape in the French Alps.
